Description (300 words max.): Farfilò is a research group on philosophical practices with children. We work on these practices from both a methodological and theoretical perspective. We organize seminars and workshops on the philosophical and pedagogical foundations of philosophical practices with children and create opportunities for students and young researchers to practice philosophy with children.
The group pursues the following activities: 1) the creation of a master course on philosophical practices with children; 2) short intensive-training courses for students and teachers who want to learn how to conduct philosophical sessions with children; 3) philosophical sessions for children; 4) a spin-off of the research group called 'Filò' with the purpose to promote philosophical practices with children and adults as well as to create job opportunities for students;
5) an international scientific network with the aim of sharing our knowledge and participate to international projects focused on philosophical practices with children; 6) exchanges between schools and university.
