The Children's Literature Research Centre - CRLI was founded with the aim of providing a possible national and international point of reference for study, exchange and cultural events concerning the way to represent, imagine and recount childhood within different types of narratives (literary, figurative, film, theatrical), with a particular focus on literature for children and adolescents as an irreducible boundary between different dimensions: the child and adult, the aesthetic and pedagogical, creativity and education, etc. The centre also aims to study and reaffirm the universal values of narrative and the importance of stories in all educational, intergenerational and care contexts, as well as in daily practice.
