International Research Centre for the Teaching of History and Heritage - DIPAST

The International Research Centre for the Teaching of History and Heritage - DIPAST was founded in October 2008 on the Department’s initiative. The training activities provided to teachers can be validated as professional training according Italian Law 187/2015.

The Centre is a hub and place for discussions on the study and teaching of history, cultural and environmental heritage. In particular, the centre aims to collect and exploit a wide range of experiences, research, projects and activities developed in recent years at the national and international level in the field of history teaching and heritage education, cultural heritage (archives, libraries, document centres, museums, art galleries) and associations, through the proposal and sharing of assumptions, terminologies, methods, practices and tools adopted in different countries.
