The Active Teaching Research Centre was established at the Department and aims to promote research and projects focused on Active Teaching in accordance with empirical, theoretical, historical and comparative research. The purpose of the Centre is to create spaces for dialogue in order to build teaching models and active learning environments in school and extracurricular contexts. The Centre works with professors from different disciplinary sectors, teachers of all school levels and professionals interested in education and training areas at the national and international level.
