Description : The project is carried out by GVC onlus (Bologna) and EducAid (Rimini); it aims to strengthen the resilience capacities of the communities involved with psychosocial and material support, and advocacy actions. Through an integrated and participatory protection approach, the intervention aims to contribute to preventing and mitigating the negative effects deriving from coercive actions and violations of human rights perpetrated, albeit with different levels of intensity, in the Palestinian territories, especially in Area C (in this project in Hebron and Tubas). The action of the Department of Educational Studies will focus on children of school age. In a context that sees children particularly vulnerable and exposed, the attempt is to operate an intervention of resilience and empowerment: an innovative teaching-learning process that is able to be therapeutic and bearer of growth. The Department will offer technical assistance to the representatives of the MoEHE (Ministry of Education and Higher Education) on the issues of inclusive education and psychosocial support in emergency situations. In particular, we will begin to develop, with a research-training approach, an Index for Inclusion and Empowerment to be used in schools to design more effective, inclusive and emancipatory educational interventions.
