Description:

The project seeks to develop the operational methodologies of learning by doing pedagogy (Pedagogie de chantier), to test such methodologies and to involve trainers, decision-makers, organisations and structures that use devices in support of young people and young adults in situations of school drop-out, vulnerability on the labour market, economic and social exclusion in the reflection on these issues. Worksite pedagogy can be applied to combat early school leaving by encouraging and developing forms of active citizenship, supporting young people in understanding the importance of their relationship with the community (school and social) and the territory. "The Pedagogie de chantier" combines the "formative" and "productive" dimensions of vocational training and social integration. The aim of the project is to enable young adults excluded or at risk of exclusion from education and training and from the labour market to find opportunities for social reintegration. The work sites and socio-professional insertion workshops are an alternative to school drop-outs of young adults and offer the opportunity to undertake a pathway to integration. Specifically, and within the framework of the partnership, the project develops tools, enriches existing approaches and methods, identifies and promotes good practices of worksite pedagogy and project pedagogy.
