The Research Centre for Studies on Disability, Education, Inclusion (Ce.DEI) was established to investigate issues related to disability and actively support the integration / inclusion of all students in schools on the basis of national and international regulations (including Italian Laws 517/77 and 104/92; the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities 2006; ICF 2001; ICF-CY 2006). The Centre adopts a pedagogical perspective and a multidisciplinary methodological approach for studying issues related to disability and social exclusion. The Centre supports and monitors implementation and compliance with current international, national and regional regulations as well as updates to these regulations.
