Education and socialization: theory and models in formal and non-formal educational contexts

In this area, studies and research focus on forms of intentional and unintentional education that take place in non-formal and informal contexts (and through such activities), with a focus on connections with the formal education system (school). Research in this area deal with issues such as: the relationship between language, interaction and culture in natural and institutional contexts, education practices that take place in family, pre-school and extracurricular educational services, between groups of children, adults during education or the elderly, within extracurricular activities (e.g. sports, outdoor activities, activities for elderly people, internships).
