Anthropology

The Department’s approach in this area is based on interdisciplinarity and intersectoral contributions. In the field of anthropological sciences, research focuses on studies that address issues such as the relationships between language, interactions and culture in natural and institutional contexts, the anthropology of education, the anthropology of urban places and migratory processes, the study of contamination between cultures (including class, age, gender, national and regional aspects when faced with social approaches that support, claim and pursue scenarios of monoculturalism).
